NSCCFREEBOOKS is a blog written by a North Seattle Community College student, who spent too much money buying books at the school bookstore. The student researched ways to find books for free and is dedicating this blog to helping other students find free textbooks.

The Free Textbook Coalition

The Free Textbook Coalition's mission is to provide educational resources and support to the student community and general public, along with acting as a mediating organization for students. TFTC supports administrative multi-faceted support for students, advances in resource redistribution, and works to fill the overall need for mediation of students in this sector.

The Free Textbook Coalition currently works with local bookstores, large book publishers, school administrators, and online bookstores to allow greater access to textbooks.
