Useless Advisors.

I do NOT recommened using the advisors on campus if you are planning on going a specific route.
If transferring to a 4 year university is your focus, I recommend going to the universitys' site and looking at the courses that other students of your "major" are taking.
Many programs at the University of Washington, along with other 4 year schools, require certain pre-reqs - WHICH THE ADVISORS DO NOT KNOW!
The advisors will simply recommend any random class that fits a requirement for your degree and tell you it's ok.

Many schools in Washington (UPS, SU, UW) do NOT accept the DTA. Even if you complete your 90 credits and recieve your AA, you will NOT automatically be accepted as a Junior standing.
Make sure that your classes will TRANSFER to the school you plan on transferring too.

I see too many kids simply taking any old class; even if a class is listed as a "transfer class" on the NSCC coursebook, the school you hope to transfer too may or may not accept those credits.
